​Have you ever met someone who has such a deep knowledge base that regardless of the problem or situation he sees the solution?  That’s Buddy Uldrikson when it comes to horses.  And why wouldn’t he?  He’s been training them for over three decades.  At 15 he began starting colts and in no time understood that gentle techniques made more sense than the traditional cowboys’ approach of beating a horse into submission.  For 30+ years he’s perfected his quiet yet clear leadership.

Whatever your style might be there are five different maneuvers your horse should know. Horseman Buddy Uldrikson will teach you the proper fundamentals and advanced horsemanship skills and techniques for the barrel, horse and rider. He teaches correct body position, focusing on consistent barrel approach. Buddy shows you how to connect the rider with the horse, body and mind, to achieve your goals of becoming a better racer no matter what level you are at present. 

His classes involve installing confidence with lots of saddle time.

Interested in escaping the winter weather doldrums while honing your horsemanship skills?  Then come join us for a clinic at Rancho Rio Bonita Ranch.  Less than 10 miles from Wickenburg, AZ—the "Roping Capital of the World"—we are nestled in a pristine valley surrounded by hills decorated by red rocks and regal cactus. So, where do we trail ride?  Right out our back door!
